![]() ![]() ![]() The extension table/bed is a laminated, molded wood that fits the free-arm perfectly. The other accessories are in excellent condition and really neat. T is a knob to raise and lower the feed dogs. This machine is able to sew a range of fabrics from heavy duty upholstery fabric to light weight or sheer fabrics. Other than that it is excellent and runs very strong. It is a paint scratch - not deep or rusting. I say almost excellent because t is a scratch across the free arm sewing bed. The machine is a two-tone light and dark green in almost excellent cosemtic condition. I have only seen a picture of a Phoenix sewing machine in someone's online webshots album and a magazine ad for the brand for sale on ebay and that is it! This auction includes everything: the free-arm machine, wood extension bed/table, all the really cool cams for additional utility and decorative stitches (zig zag, blind hem, buttonhole, stretch zig zag, satin stitch, etc.), 4 original bobbins and bobbin case, power cord, foot pedal, 55 page instruction booklet, case with keys and several feet for specialized sewing. I have done a lot of looking and research over the years and never found any information on Phoenix sewing machines. The metal label on the backs says "Made In Germany." T is not a model number, but the serial number is B-757222. I estimate the manufacture date of this machine to the 1950's. I'm certain she was loyal to this brand because she owned 2 of them: this machine (the Duplomatic) and a Phoenix Automatic machine. This auction is for a vintage Phoenix Duplomatic Sewing Machine. Awesome! One of a Kind! I am thinning out my sewing machine and craft collections. ![]()
